Soft Slip™ Collars:

White Pine Soft Slip™ collars are a wonderful alternative to flat buckle collars that your dog can back out of and metal choke chains that may not be necessary and should not be kept on your dog at all times.  Made of 100% nylon that will not damage, cut, or even discolor when wet, White Pine collars are more humane due to their limited slip action.  The collars come in a wide variety of sizes and colors including:

Soft Snap™ Collars:

A convenient side-release snap makes this snap collar easy to put on and take off.  Popular in the 1" version with sporting dogs. Same Soft Web as in our Soft Slip that won't leave a colored ring on your dog's neck or wear fur.  Lots of folks like the Mini Soft Snap for color marking puppies. If you are unsure whether your dog needs a Soft Slip or a Soft Snap, and strength is a factor, go with the Soft Slip.

Soft Web Leads - 6':

  • Mini Soft Web Lead - $8.85 (same colors as collars)
    uses a lighter weight nickel plate zinc diecast bolt snap and is suitable for toy to small sized dogs, 20 lbs and under.
  • 9/16" Soft Web Lead - $10.95 (same colors as collars)
    uses a solid Italian Bronze Bolt snap (Italian Bronze is commonly found on sled dog driver's gang lines) and is suitable for medium sized dogs.  Examples are: most Sporting breeds; most Hounds; the medium sized Working breeds, larger Terriers; larger Non-Sporting breeds, and most Herding breeds.

  • 1" Soft Web Lead  (same colors as collars)

Machine washable!  Like the Soft Web™ Collars, the Soft Web™ Leads wash beautifully!  Leads can be washed individually or separately by simply wrapping bolt snap(s) in a heavy terry washcloth (or similar) and securing with a heavy rubber band.  Gather up the rest of the lead and either secure with another heavy rubber band and/or place in a laundry bag.  Soft Web™ Collars and Leads are colorfast and maintain their suppleness after repeated washings.  If you feel your collar or lead is getting stiffer than it originally was, it probably is time to wash it!
