Basic Obedience

$100 for 6 weeks, 6 consecutive Mondays at 6pm or Wednesdays at 6pm or 7pm

For dogs 6 months and older, or who have completed a Puppy Kindergarten class.

Socialization, working with the owner through distractions, heeling, automatic sits, downs, stand, and reliable recalls (coming when called) are the focus of Basic Obedience, with the goal being a well behaved dog that is fun and easy to live with. Families are encouraged to attend, and handlers can switch and take turns working the dog.

Cathy Winkler has developed this course while competing successfully in Obedience trials, tracking trials, water trials, and agility.  It is fun and enlightening for the dogs AND owners!

All classes require dogs have current vaccinations. All dogs must be on a leash (no retractable leashes). Comfortable, CASUAL clothing and comfortable footwear *NO SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS, OR HIGH HEELS should be worn by attendees.
